So I’ve been holding off on this post as it has been frigidly cold here in Ontario. I mean like instant popsicle weather. Minus twenties with windchill making it feel like minus thirty or even forty (celsius)! This is hide in your home, cuddle under a blanket with popcorn and a movie type of weather. BUT it’s gotta break soon and it still looks oh so romantic outside; so we have to take advantage before it all melts into a brown mound of dirty slush.
The winter usually confides us to our homes and sometimes presents us with some winter blues (guilty!). So here is the perfect winter date idea to eliminate all of all the negativity and reignite that spark. Grab a blanket (or five), gorgeous florals and a bottle of wine to keep warm, then get dressed up and head out for a romantic date outdoors.
This is so different then your usual day out and it’s really quite fun! We didn’t last too long, but every minute was enjoyed and we (I) giggled the entire time. It’s so awesome doing things out of the norm. I found it entirely romantic.
This outdoor date can be done in SO many ways, including in full snow gear just to keep extra warm. It can be the entire date or just the ending to a fun event such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing or a hike. Step out of the usual comfort zone and use your imagination.
I hope we were able to inspire!
