Fashion Fridays: House has SOLD

Black Sweater Dress with Black Knee High Boots

Today we sold our first home OFFICIALLY! What a whirlwind!

Our home officially hit the market at noon on Friday March the 13th. We had four showings that afternoon and evening, two the following evening (I was busy in my photography studio that day) and six Sunday. We had TWO offers that evening. Unfortunately, the first offer fell through at the end of their condition days. BUT, the other interested buyers still wanted to purchase and the home officially sold today! We were pretty pumped to see the SOLD sign appear on our lawn. Oh, and I could do backflips about not having to scrub this place shiny everyday.

Now, we hunt. We’ve probably seen 15 homes thus far and man and man…NO LUCK. Fingers crossed we find our family home! Wishfully we have some luck with the spring market that is supposed to bring more variety.

Speaking of spring, it is STILL freezing where we are. The sun sometime comes out and totally teases us all but that’s about it. So I thought it was appropriate to share my absolute favourite sweater dress (as it doesn’t look like i’ll be putting it away anytime soon.. humph). This one is from H&M and is SO comfy and cute! I love the cowl-like neck. Paired with some panty hose for those windy days and knee high boots, completes the look. Although a bit dark, who doesn’t love layered black? Plus, you can really add pops of colour in some jewellery options!

Make sure to check out the blog next week, I will be sharing a true Pinterest Fail. Really bad!
